Registered Nurses provide care in coordination with each of our clients’ physicians and/or therapists. At Aledli, we partner with top-notch Nurses, with at a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting, because our Nurses are the communication touchpoints between the client, physicians, caregivers, and family members. Qualifications for Home Services Worker
Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Does not have a disqualifying background check under the requirements of Health Care Worker Background Check Act [225 ILCS 46] and the Health Care Worker Background Check Code (77 Ill. Adm. Code 955).
Has a copy of his/her/their Social Security Card.
Has a visa or proof of citizenship in compliance with federal requirements for employment.
Aledli Home Health Care, Inc. shall provide or arrange for a minimum of eight hours of training for each home services worker. Four hours of training shall be provided prior to the home services worker’s first assignment, and the remaining four hours shall be provided within the worker’s first 30 days of employment. AHHC may accept proof that the worker has successfully completed a training program at or through another licensed home services agency within the prior year (365 days) in lieu of providing or arranging for training, including a home health aide who is approved on the Health Care Worker Registry. AHHC shall not give a worker an assignment until the worker has first passed a competency evaluation given by the agency of topics included in the first four hours of training. The competency evaluation shall ensure that the home services worker is competent to provide the services required in his or her first assignment. The worker shall be similarly tested following the remaining four hours of training.
Qualifications for Visiting Registered Nurses
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN, ADN preferred.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent experience.
Driver’s license and good driving record.
A car that is compliant with AHHC’s requirements and the State of Illinois’ insurance laws.
Current CPR certification.
